Just like the iceberg it is easy to identify that you are looking for ways to make money from home or have your own home based business. The bigger and often harder questions are below the surface.

My own home based business journey started, when I was 23 - with a new baby in tow, walking our local neighborhood delivering Avon brochures. This was my intro to the world of a work-from-home mum.
Then came the feelings of guilt when leaving our children with a babysitter (even if it was only for one day!) to do party plan or a day at head office.
Even so, over the years it became a common sight to see me at home with my hands in the sink and the phone to my ear making a business call so I could make extra money at home. Enjoying our children's first steps; being there in their teenage years when, in the moment, the short but crucial conversation snippets occurred - made possible because I worked from home.
Taking those tax deductible business trips you can take along side 'holidays'..
These are the joys of having your own home based business - where you call the shots. Despite the fact that at times I had to 'go out' or more more recently I can now 'stay in' and still make the money - the flexibility, for me, has been priceless.
The thing is, if a young mum can do this...
YOU CAN DO IT TOO!
Over the years I have put my hand to many things, a mum who developed a home based business that created a passive, re-occurring, residual income from network marketing, finding balance and successfully blending time, money and family.
However, the problem is finding a home based business based around integrity one that
- you can trust, one you can build without loosing your friends and family.
- Ultimately will give you a solid 'passive' or 're-occurring' income for the long haul - genuinely.
- A way to make money without violating your integrity.
- Create a business without the hype and phony gimmicks
- Get your message across without being pushy.
- Inspire your customers to take the action you want them to take and you know they need to take.
It's the 'how' that maybe stopping you....that's where you can shorten your learning curve by learning from someone who's done the hard yards, spent time, money and effort making the mistakes and a coach who can can guide you.

Let alone the gazillion $’s a month doing nothing! Give me a break! Or the internet guru’s that tell you they have the ‘fool proof’ ‘push button’ system that will rake in $30,000 a month without breaking a sweat. (Does this sound familiar?)

What I’ve come to realize over the years is how fortunate I’ve been that I stumbled upon one of the most inspiring, simple, effective ways to make money from home but I’m getting ahead of myself
On my journey I discovered what I DIDN'T want to have in a home business things like….
- I DIDN’T want to handle staff, employees and the headaches that go along with managing staff and their issues, let alone the government regulatory requirements and what one needs to do to keep up with it all.
- I DIDN’T want have to deal with shipping a product, or have my home become a warehouse. (In the dim distant past I was a Tupperware Lady and my house was like that! Yikes) The time involved, heck I’ve enough to do caring for my family let alone spend my days full-filing orders.
- I DIDN’T want a ‘regular business’ with BIG overheads and BIG headaches. No sireee, not for me.
- I DIDN’T want another internet get-rich-quick-scheme.
- I DIDN’T want another ‘how-to-course’ or pile of books and tapes that get you all revved up with nowhere to go..or worse, gather dust on a shelf
- I DIDN'T want to create my own product because it's not as 'simple' as the guru's make it out to be.
Here’s How I Discovered How to
Own My Life
It all started when an acquaintance, naturopath actually, called me at a time in my life when I’d sold one business and was desperately looking for another way to have flexibility around the kids and still contribute to the family finances.
I was determined to not have to ‘go get a job’ just the thought sent shivers of horror down my spine. My kids were too important to turn them into ‘latch key kids’.
It’s like a Virtual Business
Using someone else’s, product, someone else’s warehouse and someone else handles the shipping. That alone is worth it’s weight in gold and saves my most precious commodity – TIME!
The beauty of this is you can be anywhere.
What I mean by that is... while we were off for a month exploring the exhilarating ski fields and breath taking beauty of the Colorado Rocky Mountains...people all over the country were still receiving their monthly orders and I was getting paid every single week! How cool is that?
So you CAN create an income from home, just like I do however it's more then just the money it's the joy and....
Freedom!
It's the FREEDOM of being there for your kids, The FREEDOM from that tyrannical boss...the FREEDOM of having that constant flow of income.
Think about it! How would that feel? Tell me... how much stress would that remove, the weight of your shoulders.
Not only that, how would you feel knowing you are also, contributing to others in a positive way because after all it's tough going it alone... understanding that through 'co-operation' it's easier to create something far bigger and better then going it alone.
It's about knowing deep down that your small contribution is in fact significant when combined with others. It’s the ultimate in peace of mind
